You said you would love Him
and serve Him forever,
And get down on your knees.
Pray to the Father,
get into the word,
And you always would believe.

But instead you do
whatever you want.
Whatever comes into
your head that’s what!

and give of your time.

having your fun,

You read in God’s word on
how you should live.
What makes God happy,
and how you should give.
All of yourself
in worshiping Him,
And all you really wanted
was to love and serve Him.

But you’re like a man
who looked into a mirror,
And forgot what he looked like.
