Prayer Warrior

It's a dark and evil place,
demons hovering around.
Traps on either side
and danger all around.
Can't even see his hand,
he dare not loose his way.
Large pits on every side,
but here he can not stay.


It seems the road is gone,
he has lost his narrow way.
But think again my dear friend
as he begins to pray.
The road ahead begins to shine,
the way becomes more clear.
Forward he presses on,
no longer gripped in fear.

He's a Prayer Warrior
battiling demonic foes.
Protected by God's armor,
praying wherever he goes.


A Prayer Warrior could be a woman,
teenager or a child.
From any church or nation,
color or fashion style.
There's only three qualificatios,
first Jesus Christ as Lord.
Next pray to Christ daily
and then study the word, our sword.

The armor is from God Himself,
truth as a belt buckled around.
Breast plate of righteousness securely on
and their feet with readiness bound.
The shield of faith held high,
stopping the flaming arrows.
Their helmet of salvation
on deflecting Satan's blows.

Become a warrior today
and throw back the gates of hell.
Defeat the demonic hosts
and make Satan tuck his tale.
Proclaim the gospel to all
